Computershare announced it has completed the acquisition of the business and assets of Fitzcores, a specialist global investor targeting firm focused on investor relations technology and intelligence.
Computershare said the acquisition strengthens its Investor Engagement offering by adding Fitzcores’ empirical targeting algorithm, which is modeled on past performance and historical data to help improve investor relations outcomes for meetings, conferences and roadshows.
Fitzcores’ investor targeting and intelligence platform helps investor relations teams identify the funds and portfolio managers most likely to invest in their stock. Computershare noted that the platform’s quantitative approach combines investor behavior, industry characteristics and targeting traits to provide a more data-driven approach than traditional investor targeting methods.
Following the acquisition, Computershare’s Investor Engagement services now include investor targeting, investor surveillance, investor relations management technology, proxy services, governance consulting and activism advisory capabilities through Georgeson Advisory.
The company said the acquisition aligns with its strategy of delivering a comprehensive investor engagement ecosystem for corporate investor relations teams, boards and executive leadership. Computershare added that the transaction builds on previous acquisitions completed at the end of 2024, including CMi2i Limited and ingage IR Limited.
Computershare said its Investor Engagement business integrates three core functions into a single platform:
- Investor Intelligence, providing near real-time visibility into equity, debt, international and beneficial ownership to help companies monitor investor influence and anticipate risks.
- Investor Relations technology, offering a centralized platform for managing investor relations programs, analytics, reporting and investor communications.
- Georgeson Advisory, providing shareholder engagement and governance advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, activism situations and contested proxy votes.
