Concentra announced it has acquired the assets of Reliant Immediate Care in California from MBI Industrial Medicine, adding three rebranded centers in the greater Los Angeles area and consolidating a fourth site into an existing Concentra clinic.

The acquired locations include Reliant’s LAX Airport, Downtown LA, and Montebello centers, which have been renamed Concentra Century Airport, Concentra Downtown LA, and Concentra Montebello, respectively. Concentra also said Reliant’s Huntington Park location will close and merge with Concentra Vernon Soto in Vernon, California.

Following the acquisition, Concentra said it will provide services including work injury care, urgent care, physical therapy, drug testing, DOT physical exams, pre-placement exams, and other employer-related health services at the new locations. The company also said telemedicine for minor work injuries will be available through its Concentra Telemed platform.

Concentra described the deal as strengthening its growing presence in California and improving its ability to meet demand for comprehensive occupational health services in the region. The company operates a nationwide network of occupational health centers and onsite clinics serving employers and their employees.

Concentra said it is the largest provider of occupational health services in the U.S. by number of locations and reported that, as of September 30, 2025, it supported care for more than 50,000 patients per day on average across 628 occupational health centers and 409 onsite health clinics in 47 states.

KEY QUOTE:

“Reliant Immediate Care has a strong reputation in California. We look forward to continuing that legacy with employers and expanding access to care in the greater Los Angeles area.”
