Concentra has appointed Tanner Newton as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective November 1, 2026, as the occupational healthcare company continues executing its multiyear leadership succession plan.

Newton currently serves as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Finance.

He will succeed Matt DiCanio, who currently serves as Concentra’s President and CFO and will become President and CEO on November 1.

Newton will continue reporting to DiCanio and will lead Concentra’s finance organization, with responsibility for accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, capital markets, corporate development and investor relations.

Newton has played a central role in shaping Concentra’s strategy and financial priorities.

His current responsibilities include corporate strategy, capital structure and allocation, real estate, treasury, procurement, corporate development, strategic pricing and investor relations.

His existing relationships with Concentra’s equity and debt investors are expected to provide continuity during the CFO transition.

Newton joined Concentra in January 2025.

Before joining the company, he spent more than a decade across private equity and investment banking, including senior investment positions where he worked with management teams and Boards on growth and value creation.

His experience includes investment underwriting, transaction execution, M&A, capital markets and strategic and financial initiatives across portfolio companies.

Concentra operates 633 occupational health centers and 415 onsite health clinics at employer worksites, along with Concentra Telemed.

As of June 30, 2026, its approximately 13,000 colleagues and affiliated physicians and clinicians supported an average of approximately 54,000 patients each business day across 46 states and Washington, D.C.
