Concentric has acquired Atlanta-based Critical Components Inc. (CCI) to broaden its capabilities in critical power and precision cooling for data center infrastructure and to extend its service footprint nationally.
The deal brings together Concentric’s national platform for designing, installing, and maintaining critical infrastructure systems with CCI’s specialization in data center power and cooling solutions across the Southeast. Concentric said the combination is intended to help customers meet increasing requirements for speed, scale, uptime, and resilience as digital infrastructure demand accelerates.
CCI is described as a leading provider of critical power and precision cooling services supporting data centers as well as industrial and healthcare facilities. Concentric said CCI will take on a leadership role within the combined organization as it works to serve growing customer needs across the U.S.
Concentric positioned the acquisition as a step toward offering a more integrated “one-stop” platform for customers that need end-to-end capabilities spanning design, build, and ongoing service for critical power and cooling systems. The company also pointed to surging requirements tied to AI and advanced computing, which are increasing the complexity of power delivery and thermal management in modern data centers.
While financial terms were not disclosed, Concentric emphasized the operational benefits of combining its broader footprint and resources with CCI’s technical expertise and established customer relationships in the data center market. The companies said the integration will strengthen their ability to support high-profile clients with comprehensive coverage across critical power and precision cooling needs.
