Confido Health has expanded its Series A funding to $22.5 million as the company scales CareOS, its agentic AI operations platform for healthcare organizations. The latest financing includes a new $12.5 million extension led by Z47, formerly Matrix Partners India. Healthcare private equity veteran Justin Saks also joined as an investor and board advisor, while existing investors Together Fund and Blume Ventures participated.
Confido initially focused on AI-powered voice agents for healthcare but is broadening its platform into an operating layer designed to execute administrative work across medical organizations. CareOS is intended to move healthcare organizations beyond systems that primarily store information toward AI agents that can take action across workflows.
The company said it has grown 15-fold since its previous financing. Confido’s platform has achieved AI handle rates of more than 95% across critical end-to-end office use cases and can create capacity equivalent to roughly three to five full-time employees on average within three months of deployment.
Confido said provider customers project annual savings of $10 million to $15 million in some deployments, while patient satisfaction has averaged 4.55 out of 5 across approximately one million tasks.
CareOS can automate workflows involving patient details, referrals, payer requirements, scheduling, prescriptions, payments, and other administrative activities. Confido has integrated the platform with more than 50 systems, including electronic health records, practice management platforms, phone systems, billing systems, fax systems, and other healthcare infrastructure.
The company is particularly focused on multi-site medical groups, including private equity-backed provider organizations, where administrative complexity increases as practices expand. Specialty areas supported include ophthalmology and optometry, physical therapy, dental, and primary and community care.
Confido plans to use the additional capital to extend its systems-of-action model deeper into the operational back office while expanding adoption among multi-location healthcare groups.
KEY QUOTES:
“Every healthcare platform we work with shares the same story and challenges. They’ve got endless amounts of data, but inconsistent systems to manage it holistically, which leaves them short-staffed and drowning in follow-up.”
Chetan Reddy, Co-Founder And CEO Of Confido Health
“After 14 years investing in multi-site healthcare, I’ve never seen anything quite like the growth potential embedded in Confido’s PE flywheel or the pace of its momentum and scale.”
Justin Saks, Investor And Board Advisor At Confido Health
“Healthcare administration is a trillion-dollar cost center, and for decades the only way to manage it was to hire more people. Confido is building AI staffing for healthcare.”
Vikram Vaidyanathan, Partner And Senior Managing Director At Z47
