Connectbase, the platform that powers how the connected world buys and sells digital infrastructure, has acquired Cloud Age, a telecom invoice automation and spend-management SaaS provider used by service providers across more than 1,700 global vendors. The deal expands Connectbase’s position as the operating system for transacting in the connectivity ecosystem, unifying discovery, quoting, spend intelligence, and settlement into a single workflow.
As part of the transaction, Equality Asset Management (EAM) has made a strategic investment in Connectbase to support the acquisition and accelerate global expansion. Connectbase’s platform currently covers more than 2.2 billion serviceable locations and over 400 network providers worldwide.
Cloud Age’s software automates the ingestion and normalization of complex telecom invoices spanning network, UCaaS, data center, power, and managed services. Its system turns unstructured billing data into structured intelligence that feeds into providers’ financial and operational workflows. By integrating this spend data with Connectbase’s mapping, quoting, and partner ecosystem, the combined platform will now span the full lifecycle from opportunity identification to quoting to spend management and settlement.
Connectbase said the move enables carriers, cloud operators, channel partners, and enterprises to operate with more automation, visibility, and trust—particularly as AI-driven, agentic systems reshape how connectivity is purchased, sold, and managed.
EAM’s investment will support ongoing innovation, expanded data coverage, and Connectbase’s international growth. The firm joins Connectbase’s existing investor base, while Cloud Age adds deeper spend-intelligence capabilities to Connectbase’s federated digital fabric.
