Conscious Capital Growth, in partnership with Petra Capital Partners, has acquired RD Nutrition Consultants, a national provider of specialized dietitian consulting services for healthcare facilities across the United States. The buyers said the transaction positions RD Nutrition for faster growth and expansion of its clinical reach.
Founded in 2014, RD Nutrition provides clinical nutrition services to more than 1,200 facilities nationwide, spanning skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, acute care hospitals, dialysis centers, behavioral health facilities, and home health and hospice providers. The company operates a hybrid delivery model that blends on-site coverage with remote and telehealth services to support continuity of care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency for healthcare operators.
RD Nutrition’s service lines include clinical dietitian services, medical nutrition therapy, menu review, dietary compliance support, and wellness programs. A central growth focus is the company’s telehealth platform, which supports national partners and multi-site operators and includes nutrition counseling and ongoing support for patients using GLP-1 medications, with the goal of improving adherence, outcomes, and long-term treatment durability.
Post-acquisition, RD Nutrition will continue to operate under its current brand. Founder Robert DeLair will remain Chief Executive Officer and retain a meaningful ownership stake. The new ownership group said it intends to support continued organic growth, accelerate the expansion of telehealth and GLP-1-related offerings, and pursue selective add-on acquisitions in a highly fragmented market.
Conscious Capital Growth described its investment approach as partnering with mission-driven businesses across its four holding companies: TalentGro, FoodGro, LifeGro, and Catalyzer AI. Petra Capital Partners, based in Nashville, focuses on healthcare, business, and tech-enabled services and is currently investing from Petra Growth Fund V.
