Constellation Brands announced the election of Morgan Flatley as a new independent member of its Board of Directors, effective May 20, 2026. Flatley currently serves as Executive Vice President, Global Chief Marketing Officer and New Business Ventures at McDonald’s Corporation.
The company said Flatley’s appointment strengthens its board with additional expertise in global brand building, consumer-packaged goods, food and beverage marketing, digital customer engagement, and innovation. Constellation Brands Board Chair Chris Baldwin said Flatley’s experience will help the company continue positioning itself as the leading high-end beer supplier in the U.S. by dollar sales while driving growth in the beverage alcohol category.
At McDonald’s, Flatley oversees global brand building initiatives across marketing, menu strategy, value platforms, digital engagement, consumer insights, and new business ventures. Since joining the company in 2017, she has led several high-profile marketing campaigns and earned recognition on Forbes’ World’s Most Influential CMOs list multiple times, along with Adweek’s Brand Genius honor.
Before joining McDonald’s, Flatley spent 13 years at PepsiCo, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Global Nutrition. In that role, she oversaw brand positioning and innovation for brands including Quaker, Tropicana, Gatorade, and Naked Juice.
Flatley said Constellation Brands has built one of the industry’s most distinctive portfolios by remaining closely connected to consumers and culture. She added that she looks forward to working with fellow board members and supporting the company’s executive leadership as it continues pursuing long-term growth.
With Flatley’s appointment, Constellation Brands’ Board of Directors returns to 12 members following the retirement of former President and CEO Bill Newlands from the board in April 2026. The company said the appointment is part of its ongoing board refreshment strategy.
Constellation Brands is a global producer and marketer of beer, wine, and spirits with operations across the U.S., Mexico, New Zealand, and Italy.
