Contemporary Leadership Advisors (CLA), a consulting firm focused on leadership and organizational effectiveness, has acquired Momentum Global, a boutique advisory firm founded by former chief people officers Scott Slipy and Suni Lobo.
CLA said the deal deepens its operational capabilities and expands its strategic HR advisory services, adding seasoned people leaders with experience across technology, healthcare, and financial services in both public and private company environments. Financial terms were not disclosed.
As part of the transaction, Slipy will join CLA as a partner. He has served as chief people officer at multiple private equity- and venture-backed companies and previously held senior HR leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group, Cisco, and Microsoft. CLA said Slipy is known for aligning people practices with business strategy to improve clarity, accountability, and execution against value creation plans.
Lobo will join CLA as a strategic advisor. She has served as chief people officer at Gong, Marqeta, and Navis, and is described by CLA as a purpose-driven global executive focused on building high-performing teams and aligning culture with enterprise transformation.
CLA said it will continue to leverage Momentum Global’s partnerships in AI and workflow automation, along with talent and compensation market intelligence capabilities, to provide more integrated leadership, organizational, and human capital solutions to clients.
