Control Point Associates, a land surveying and geospatial services firm, has completed the acquisition of Rouse-Sirine Associates, a Virginia-based land surveying and subsurface utility engineering (S.U.E.) provider, marking Control Point’s entry into the Virginia market and extending its Mid-Atlantic footprint.

The deal brings Rouse-Sirine into Control Point’s operations and increases Control Point’s total office network to 12 locations along the East Coast, broadening its geographic coverage and adding additional technical capacity for projects that require surveying, mapping, and utility engineering expertise. The companies said the integration is intended to strengthen regional support for clients across the Mid-Atlantic, while maintaining continuity for existing relationships and active engagements.

Founded in 1972, Rouse-Sirine has established a reputation in Virginia for land surveying and S.U.E. services, and its team will remain in place following the transaction. Control Point said the acquired business will continue operating with its current personnel, preserving established client relationships and minimizing disruption. The company also indicated that ongoing projects and service agreements are expected to continue without interruption as the transition proceeds.

For Control Point, the acquisition extends a growth strategy that has relied on targeted combinations to expand capabilities and coverage. The company said it aims to preserve local expertise at acquired firms while adding resources, advanced technology, and a larger regional support infrastructure that can be applied across a wider range of client needs. With a platform that spans boundary and topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, 3D laser scanning, mobile LiDAR, UAV data acquisition and mapping, GIS, and subsurface utility engineering, Control Point positions the Rouse-Sirine addition as a way to deepen service delivery for customers in industries including construction, energy, infrastructure, and land development.

Control Point said it now supports projects primarily across the Eastern United States and is able to travel as needed for client work. The company reports more than 30 years of operating history and a workforce of more than 225 employees. By adding a Virginia-based team with established local market knowledge, the firm said it expects to be better positioned to manage complex assignments throughout the region and to execute work that benefits from both on-the-ground familiarity and broader platform resources.
