Convergint announced the acquisition of JSC Systems, a Jacksonville, Florida-based provider of fire and life safety, security, and communications solutions. The deal strengthens Convergint’s presence across the Southeast and expands its capabilities in integrated infrastructure and life safety systems.
Formerly known as Jacksonville Sound & Communications, JSC Systems has established a reputation for providing technology integration services and customer support throughout Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. The company specializes in the design, installation, and servicing of fire alarm, electronic security, structured cabling, intercom, and audio/visual systems.
Under the transaction, JSC Systems will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Convergint while continuing to support customers through its regional teams. The acquisition also gives JSC access to Convergint’s global resources, operational scale, and broader service offerings.
Convergint said the deal enhances its ability to provide end-to-end solutions across fire alarm, security, intercom, structured cabling, and audio/visual systems. JSC’s expertise will support customers in commercial, healthcare, education, and enterprise markets, where demand for integrated infrastructure and life safety technologies continues to increase.
The acquisition also creates opportunities for greater collaboration throughout the Southeast region through expanded fire alarm and audio/visual capabilities, additional operational resources, and broader solutions for customers.
Convergint employs more than 11,000 people worldwide and operates over 220 locations globally. The company provides security and safety solutions, including design, implementation, integration, management, and service capabilities.
