Copeland announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Bueno Analytics, an Australia-based software company that uses embedded AI and machine learning to deliver building analytics, energy management, and operational efficiency tools for commercial buildings and cold chain environments.
The transaction is designed to expand Copeland’s digital and aftermarket portfolio by adding a SaaS platform deployed across several thousand customer sites globally. Copeland said Bueno’s technology provides connectivity across equipment portfolios, visibility into performance, and operational insights to improve uptime, reduce energy consumption, and extend asset life.
Copeland positioned the acquisition as part of a broader push to help customers address sustainability and cost pressures in buildings and temperature-controlled supply chains. The company cited the role of buildings in global emissions and said integrating Bueno’s platform with Copeland’s HVAC and refrigeration expertise will support capabilities such as predictive maintenance, energy optimization, leak detection, workforce efficiency tools, and advanced analytics. Copeland said these services can help customers identify energy-saving opportunities and operate facilities more effectively.
Bueno’s leadership said the combination will allow its platform to scale through Copeland’s reach and domain expertise, while continuing investment in research and development focused on accelerating emissions reductions and improving building performance.
Copeland said Bueno will continue to operate independently until the deal closes. The companies expect the acquisition to close in the first half of calendar 2026, subject to customary conditions, including certain regulatory approvals.
