Copperhelm: $7 Million Raised To Launch Agentic Cloud Security Platform From Stealth

Copperhelm, an AI-driven cloud security platform, announced its emergence from stealth alongside $7 million in seed funding led by TLV Partners, with participation from toDay Ventures, ICON, SaaS Ventures Israel, and several angel investors. The funding will support product development, go-to-market expansion, and scaling of the company’s engineering team.

The company is introducing a new approach to cloud security by deploying agentic AI systems that continuously monitor environments, investigate threats, and execute real-time remediation. This model is designed to replace the largely manual workflows that still dominate enterprise cloud security operations, even as AI adoption accelerates across other domains.

Founded by Shimon Tolts, Eyar Zilberman, and Roman Labunsky, Copperhelm draws on deep experience in cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity, with team backgrounds spanning companies such as Unity, McAfee, and RSA. The founders have also received industry recognition including AWS Hero, CNCF Ambassador, and GitHub Star distinctions.

Cloud security environments present unique challenges for AI adoption due to their complexity and fragmentation. Traditional approaches often struggle to provide sufficient context for automated decision-making, limiting the effectiveness of general-purpose AI tools. Copperhelm addresses this gap through its “Context Lake,” a real-time decision layer that structures and connects cloud data across environments, enabling AI agents to accurately assess and act on risks.

Built on this foundation, Copperhelm deploys specialized AI agents that function as an extension of enterprise security teams. These agents analyze infrastructure, investigate threats, and execute remediation actions in real time, allowing organizations to move from detection to resolution without manual handoffs. The platform also supports human oversight, ensuring that security teams remain in control while benefiting from automation at scale.

The company reports that its approach can significantly reduce operational burden. In one example, a Fortune 500 customer reduced millions of raw findings into a focused set of validated risks, enabling faster and more effective remediation.

Copperhelm’s platform includes agents focused on network analysis, system behavior, adversary simulation, and automated remediation. These agents integrate directly with live workloads, inspect processes and container images, map cloud network topology, and deploy protections such as web application firewall rules without causing downtime.

As enterprises continue to expand their cloud footprints, Copperhelm is positioning itself as a next-generation security platform that enables organizations to operate more efficiently while improving risk detection and response capabilities.

KEY QUOTES

“Engineering teams got AI years ago; security was left behind doing manual work. Copperhelm finally brings true AI to cloud security. It’s like instantly adding twenty senior engineers to your team.”

Shimon Tolts, Co-Founder And CEO, Copperhelm

“Applying AI to cloud security requires deep architectural expertise, not just generic models with integrations. Shimon, Eyar, and Roman are true cloud veterans and the right team to bring autonomous AI into this space and shape the future of cloud defense.”
