Coral Connect announced that it has acquired AdvisorWoRx, a strategic healthcare consulting firm founded and led by Edie Gigot. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Coral Connect is a specialty infusion enablement platform that helps healthcare operators improve purchasing decisions, operate more efficiently, and improve reimbursement across sites of care. The acquisition brings AdvisorWoRx’s operational and clinical advisory capabilities into Coral’s enablement platform.

As part of the transaction, Gigot is joining Coral’s executive leadership team as President of Infusion Services. In this role, she will lead Coral’s clinical operations, pharmacy management, dispensing enablement, and health system services lines.

AdvisorWoRx has spent the past six years advising infusion providers, specialty pharmacies, investors, and health systems. Its work has focused on due diligence, workflow optimization, market access, accreditation readiness, regulatory compliance, and clinical technology deployment.

Coral said AdvisorWoRx will now operate inside its enablement pillar. The firm’s advisory capabilities will be embedded into Coral’s managed services, advisory, and health system offerings and supported by Coral’s technology platform.

Gigot brings a broad background across specialty infusion, home infusion, ambulatory infusion, and specialty pharmacy. A nurse by training, she previously led clinical operations at AxelaCare Health Solutions and ARJ Infusion Services, now PromptCare.

She also served as Senior Vice President of Specialty Pharmacy at FlexCare Infusion Centers. And as Accreditation Program Director at the National Infusion Center Association, she led development of NICA’s Standards of Excellence for Ambulatory Infusion Centers.

Gigot founded AdvisorWoRx in 2020 and built it into a consulting firm serving operators, investors, and manufacturers across the infusion ecosystem. She holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University.

As President of Infusion Services, Gigot will oversee Coral’s health system dispensing enablement programs, infusion center operational and managed services, pharmacy management services, and clinical quality and compliance infrastructure. AdvisorWoRx engagements will transition to Coral with continuity of team and delivery.

Coral Connect said the acquisition supports its mission of helping providers, payors, and pharmacies buy smarter, run leaner, and collect more so patients can get on therapy faster. Coral is backed by Windrose Health Investors.

KEY QUOTES:

“Specialty infusion does not have a knowledge problem. It has an execution problem. Edie has spent her career inside the operating reality of this industry. She has run nursing and pharmacy teams, built specialty pharmacy operations, and written the accreditation standards the industry measures itself against. There is no one better positioned to lead how Coral builds, staffs, and runs infusion services for our customers.”

Jeremy Moskow, CEO of Coral Connect

“Every infusion operator I have worked with faces the same structural reality. Clinical decisions, procurement decisions, and reimbursement decisions are made in separate silos, and patients wait while the silos reconcile. Coral is the first platform built to close that gap. The work AdvisorWoRx has done one engagement at a time now scales across a national network. The mission is simple. Get patients on therapy faster.”
