Corebridge Financial And Equitable Holdings Announce Leadership Team For Combined $1.5 Trillion Company

Corebridge Financial and Equitable Holdings have announced the leadership team that will guide their combined company upon completion of their previously announced all-stock merger. Marc Costantini, currently President and CEO of Corebridge, will serve as CEO of the combined company, while Mark Pearson, currently President and CEO of Equitable Holdings, will serve as Executive Chair. The transaction, announced on March 26, 2026, is expected to close by year-end 2026, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.

The combined entity will serve more than 12 million customers with $1.5 trillion in assets under management and administration, creating a leading retirement, life, wealth, and asset management company. The leadership team draws from both organizations across all major functions. Robin Raju, currently CFO of Equitable Holdings with more than two decades at the company, will serve as CFO of the combined company. Jeffrey Hurd, who has served as Chief Operating Officer of Equitable Holdings for nearly a decade following a 20-year career at AIG, will serve as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer and will lead the joint Integration Office. Polly Klane, currently General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer of Corebridge and formerly of Citizens Financial Group, will serve in the same role for the combined company. Lisa Longino, currently CIO of Corebridge and formerly Head of Global Investment Strategy at Prudential Financial, will serve as Chief Investment Officer overseeing an approximately $366 billion General Account.

Additional leaders include Seth Bernstein continuing as CEO of AllianceBernstein, the combined company’s global asset management business; John Byrne leading Individual Distribution across more than 900 relationships with banks, broker-dealers, and independent marketing organizations; David Karr leading Wealth Management including Equitable Advisors; Bryan Pinsky leading Individual Retirement and Life Insurance; Steve Scanlon leading Group Retirement including leading positions in the 403(b) and 457 markets; David Ditillo serving as Chief Information Technology Officer; and Julia Zhang serving as Chief Risk Officer.
