Corinthian Capital And Valesco Buying Majority Interest In Trimlight

Corinthian Capital Group (a middle-market private equity firm) announced that an affiliate of Corinthian, in partnership with Valesco Industries, has acquired a majority interest in Trimlight, a leading provider of permanent exterior LED lighting solutions.

Based in the greater Salt Lake City area, Trimlight is a pioneer in developing and manufacturing permanent exterior lighting for residential, commercial, and municipal applications. Launched in 2011, the company grew into a premier brand in the category, serving a large and expanding customer base through a network of more than 300 exclusive dealers across the United States and Canada.

Trimlight’s product portfolio spans accent lighting, holiday lighting, security lighting, landscape lighting, etc. And the company has experienced consistent growth driven by its reputation for innovation and reliability, as Trimlight has become the trusted name in permanent exterior lighting.

Advisors/support: FS Investments provided debt financing for the transaction. And Corinthian was advised by Latham & Watkins (legal counsel) and CohnReznick (financial, accounting, and tax advisory). D.A. Davidson & Co. served as the exclusive financial advisor to Trimlight.
