Corvex Adds Garrett Brams To Lead AI Factory Data Center Development

Corvex has appointed Garrett Brams to lead its data center sourcing and development strategy as the GPU infrastructure company expands the physical capacity supporting its AI Factory platform.

Brams joins Corvex from Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as Managing Director and advised developers, property owners, occupiers and institutional investors on large, capital-intensive infrastructure projects.

At Corvex, Brams will oversee the sourcing, evaluation, leasing and development of mission-critical data center projects.

His role is centered on three increasingly important constraints in artificial intelligence infrastructure: access to suitable sites, access to sufficient electrical power and early visibility into capacity becoming available.

Corvex said AI workloads are becoming increasingly power-dense and operationally complicated, requiring data center developers to coordinate cluster architecture, power, cooling, networking, storage, equipment procurement and site operations.

Brams’ experience covers acquisitions, development, leasing, operations and dispositions of mission-critical assets.

The company particularly highlighted his background with projects where power availability, reliability, scalability and speed to market can determine whether infrastructure reaches operation on schedule.

Corvex operates an engineering-led AI cloud computing platform focused on GPU-accelerated infrastructure.

Its products include AI Factories and GPU Clusters, Confidential Computing and the Corvex Token Factory, an inference platform currently operating in closed alpha.

The appointment strengthens the development side of Corvex’s AI infrastructure strategy by bringing data center real estate and power sourcing expertise directly into the organization.

As AI companies seek increasingly large amounts of compute, Corvex sees the ability to coordinate land, electricity, capital, engineering and construction as a core competitive requirement rather than a conventional real estate function.

KEY QUOTES:

“Garrett knows where the power is, who controls it, and what it takes to get a site energized.”

Jay Crystal, Co-Chief Executive Officer Of Corvex

“AI infrastructure is no longer just a real estate challenge, it is an execution challenge.”
