Corvex Secures $33 Million PIPE As AI Data Center Capacity Targets 5x Expansion To 8 MW

Corvex has announced a major expansion of its AI infrastructure footprint alongside a $33 million private placement, with critical IT power capacity expected to increase more than fivefold from approximately 1.5 MW to about 8 MW by the end of 2026.

The expansion includes doubling capacity at Corvex’s Mid-Atlantic facility and establishing operations at a second enterprise-scale data center in the Midwest.

Both locations are expected to become service-ready during the fourth quarter of 2026, with revenue from the added infrastructure anticipated beginning in the first quarter of 2027.

Corvex plans to deploy approximately 2,000 latest-generation GPUs at the Midwest facility and another 1,000 GPUs at its Mid-Atlantic site.

The clusters will be available either as bare-metal infrastructure or through a managed Kubernetes orchestration layer.

Corvex also holds a right of first refusal covering another 12.5 MW at the Midwest location.

If exercised and contracted, that expansion could push total critical IT capacity above 20 MW, representing more than 13 times the company’s current capacity. The additional phase remains subject to customer demand, financing, utility availability, equipment delivery and permitting.

The $33 million PIPE will issue approximately 4.258 million as-converted common shares at $7.75 each.

Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Oppenheimer are acting as joint lead placement agents.

Pro forma cash and equivalents are expected to increase to approximately $55 million from $22 million reported as of June 30.

Capital will also support Corvex Token Factory and Assured AI, its privacy-focused AI infrastructure technologies.

KEY QUOTES:

“The scarce input in AI infrastructure is energized power inside a finished building. We have secured more than five times as much of it, with the right to scale to more than 20 megawatts in 2027.”

Jay Crystal, Co-CEO And Co-Founder Of Corvex

“Token Factory is built to address that cost by offering near-frontier performance on most enterprise workloads at a fraction of the price per million tokens of frontier proprietary models.”

Seth Demsey, Co-CEO And Co-Founder Of Corvex
