Corvias has completed more than half of Project Homestead, a $210 million military housing modernization initiative covering homes at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, Fort Meade in Maryland and Fort Rucker in Alabama.
The company has delivered 1,215 of the program’s planned 2,388 home renovations, bringing overall completion to 51%. Corvias said the work is progressing ahead of schedule.
Launched in partnership with the U.S. Army, Project Homestead includes new roofs, stainless steel appliances, updated lighting and other improvements intended to create safer and more comfortable housing for military families.
The program is scheduled to be completed in December 2029.
Corvias is investing approximately $91 million at Fort Bragg. The work includes 329 major home renovations across three neighborhoods, with approximately 15% completed.
The company has also completed all 872 planned roof replacements at Fort Bragg. Medium-level renovations at the installation are 83% complete, with 233 homes delivered.
At Fort Meade, Corvias is investing approximately $95 million to update 870 homes across six neighborhoods.
The Fort Meade program includes 661 medium renovations, of which 227 have been completed, and 209 major renovations, of which 46 have been delivered.
Corvias is investing another $24 million at Fort Rucker, where the project is running ahead of schedule. The company recently completed the first 100 renovated homes in the Allen Heights neighborhood.
A total of 115 of the installation’s 285 planned medium renovations have been completed. Nearly 20% of Fort Rucker’s housing inventory is expected to benefit from the improvements.
Outside Project Homestead, Corvias is also carrying out a $5.7 million historic home exterior restoration initiative at Fort Riley. Twenty of the project’s 43 homes have been renovated, bringing the initiative to approximately 50% completion.
Corvias said the investments support military readiness by improving housing quality, energy resilience and the broader living environment for service members and their families.
The company’s military infrastructure portfolio also includes renewable energy projects, energy resiliency initiatives, wellness-oriented home enhancements and housing for unaccompanied service members.
