CoStar Group, a commercial real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces company, announced the appointment of Nana Banerjee as an independent member of its Board of Directors, effective immediately. With this addition, the board expands to nine directors, eight of whom are independent.
Banerjee brings more than two decades of experience leading global technology and data-driven businesses. Most recently, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pelmorex Corp., a weather and climate data company known for The Weather Network, where he led the company’s transformation through AI-native offerings.
Earlier in his career, Banerjee held senior leadership roles, including Senior Advisor and Senior Managing Director at Cerberus Capital Management, President and Chief Executive Officer of McGraw-Hill, Group President and Chief Analytics Officer at Verisk, Chief Operating Officer at Argus Information & Advisory Services, and Head of Citibank’s credit card business in the United Kingdom. He has also served as Audit Committee Chairman and Non-executive Chairman of Comscore.
The appointment reflects CoStar Group’s continued focus on strengthening its expertise in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and technology as it advances its long-term growth strategy.
