CourtReserve, a leading club management software provider for racquet and paddle sports facilities, has announced a $54 million strategic growth investment from Mainsail Partners. This growth equity firm specializes in scaling vertical SaaS businesses. The investment will enable CourtReserve to accelerate product innovation, strengthen its platform, and expand its presence across North America.
Founded in 2016, CourtReserve has become a trusted partner to more than 2,000 racquet clubs and paddle sports facilities, serving a community of over five million players. The platform provides an integrated solution for club operations, encompassing court booking, membership management, event scheduling, payments, and mobile experiences. With new backing from Mainsail Partners, the company plans to enhance its platform architecture, scale its AI-powered features, and form new partnerships with universities, multi-club operators, and recreational organizations.
The partnership reflects the growing demand for advanced, cloud-based management tools in the fast-expanding racquet and paddle sports industry. The sport’s surge in popularity, driven by the growth of pickleball and the modernization of racquet clubs, has created a strong need for software solutions that streamline operations and enhance member engagement and experience.
As part of its next phase of growth, CourtReserve will focus on four strategic initiatives: platform performance and scalability upgrades, AI-driven automation and data analytics enhancements, expanded integrations with third-party systems such as accounting and CRM tools, and increased hiring across sales, marketing, and customer success to accelerate market reach.
The company’s co-founders, Tim and Ashley Owens, bring firsthand experience in operating racquet clubs, which has shaped CourtReserve’s customer-focused approach. Their background has allowed the company to develop tools that directly address the operational challenges faced by club owners and managers.
With the support of Mainsail Partners, CourtReserve plans to refine its software further to help clubs spend less time on administrative tasks and more time building their communities.
The investment positions CourtReserve to remain the category leader in racquet and paddle club management technology and continue delivering innovation to an industry poised for continued growth.
