The move unifies the companies under a single brand identity aimed at supporting North America’s efforts to modernize and expand the electrical grid.
The transition to CoVolt Power reflects the company’s evolution from a utility-scale solar EPC contractor into a broader power infrastructure platform serving demand for complex, scalable, and reliable power solutions across the United States. By combining Signal Energy’s utility-scale solar, storage, and data center construction capabilities with Applied High Voltage’s expertise in substations and transmission systems, CoVolt Power is positioning itself as an integrated provider for renewable generation, grid infrastructure, industrial power, and data center projects.
Founded in 2005, the company has built more than 7.3 GWac of generation capacity, nearly 1.7 GWh of battery storage, and over 1,000 substations and transmission and distribution infrastructure projects connecting more than 26.5 GW of capacity to the grid. The company employs more than 1,000 professionals and is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
According to the company, the rebranding includes a new visual identity featuring a modern logo and updated color palette designed to reflect engineering precision and execution strength. The company said the “Co” in CoVolt Power represents collaboration, connection, and commitment, while “Volt” emphasizes its focus on electrical infrastructure and high-voltage engineering.
CoVolt Power said customers of Signal Energy and AHV will continue receiving the same focus on safety, quality, and innovation while benefiting from expanded resources, improved operational synergies, and a simplified customer interface.
The company specializes in utility-scale solar projects, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and high-voltage transmission infrastructure, serving the U.S. power, industrial, and data center markets.
