Cranium AI announced the acquisition of Aiceberg in a move designed to strengthen its end-to-end AI security, governance, and agentic AI platform.
The acquisition combines the two companies’ technologies to create what Cranium AI describes as the largest independent scaled platform focused on securing and governing the evolution of agentic enterprise systems. The combined offering is intended to help enterprises manage AI across the full lifecycle, from development through deployment of autonomous AI agents.
As organizations increasingly adopt agentic AI workflows, the companies said the need for stronger oversight, governance, and security has become more important. Through the integration, Aiceberg’s agentic AI risk-mapping capabilities will be combined with Cranium AI’s security and governance framework to provide enterprises with expanded visibility, protection, and governance across AI environments.
The combined platform will focus on several key areas, including end-to-end security for large language models and generative AI applications, governance tools for autonomous agents, and automated compliance mapping aligned with global regulatory standards.
As part of the acquisition, Aiceberg CEO Alex Schlager will join Cranium AI as Chief Technology Officer. In the role, Schlager will oversee the technical roadmap and integration of the two technology platforms. All Aiceberg employees will also join Cranium AI, bringing expertise across AI security, engineering, data science, and go-to-market operations.
