Credent Wealth Management has acquired Michigan-based MainStreet Financial Advisors and Tulsa-based First State Investment Advisors, extending the Indiana-headquartered RIA’s national footprint as it enters 2026 following its recently announced long-term capital partnership with Crestline Investors.
The transactions add a combined roughly $250 million in assets under management and about 350 clients, lifting Credent’s total AUM to more than $4.3 billion across 14 offices nationwide, the company said. Four advisors and two staff members will join Credent, including MainStreet founder John Ruzza and First State Vice President Matt Redmond.
Credent said MainStreet, a hybrid broker-dealer “lift out” previously affiliated with Cambridge Investment Research in Kalamazoo, will integrate with Credent’s nearby Portage, Michigan office to expand local capacity and support existing client relationships. First State will establish a new Tulsa, Oklahoma office, complementing Credent’s current presence in Oklahoma City and extending reach in the region.
The acquisitions are Credent’s 10th and 11th in the past three years, according to the company, and align with its stated strategy of building a “forever firm” focused on client service, planning and operational strength. Credent said its expanded partnership with Crestline Investors, announced in December, provides long-term capital to support advisor onboarding, succession planning, platform enhancements and continued national expansion.
