Creditstar Group has completed a €4.6 million hybrid equity investment from Singapore-based investor Kilde at a €130 million pre-money valuation. The financing represents Creditstar’s first external hybrid equity investment.
The investment is structured as a convertible loan that accrues interest during the holding period and gives Kilde an option to convert the investment into equity.
The financing expands an existing relationship between Creditstar and Kilde. Kilde previously provided Creditstar with credit facilities totaling €18.4 million, equivalent to approximately $20 million.
Creditstar said the investment broadens its capital base beyond retained earnings, shareholder capital, and traditional debt financing.
The company reported record audited results for 2025, with net profit increasing 86% to €13.5 million and extending Creditstar’s profitability streak to 19 consecutive years. Interest income rose 50% to €111 million, while its loan portfolio reached €482 million.
The new capital will support additional product development and expansion, including a wider rollout of Creditstar’s credit card in Estonia later in 2026.
Creditstar expects the credit card to broaden its offering beyond installment and revolving credit products while supporting more frequent customer engagement and greater long-term customer value.
