Cresset has expanded its Santa Barbara, California, office with the appointment of Cory Boggs as Managing Director and Wealth Advisor. Boggs previously served as a wealth manager at Manchester Capital Management, where he managed more than $600 million in client assets.
He brings more than 15 years of experience advising entrepreneurs, business owners and multigenerational families on public and private-market investments, portfolio management and wealth planning.
Before joining Manchester Capital Management, Boggs worked as an assistant vice president and investment analyst within City National Bank’s private banking division in Los Angeles.
Boggs holds the Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and Certified Financial Planner designations. He is also a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles.
His addition supports Cresset’s continued expansion in Santa Barbara and growing demand for coordinated advice involving liquidity events, concentrated investment positions and multigenerational wealth transfers.
Cresset’s multifamily office model combines investment advisory services, private-markets access, trust services, tax strategy, family governance and related family-office capabilities.
