CrossCountry Consulting: Business Advisory Firm Buys CDS

By Amit Chowdhry ● Feb 5, 2026

CrossCountry Consulting, a business advisory and technology solutions firm, has acquired CDS, a financial due diligence provider headquartered in San Francisco, to deepen its transaction advisory capabilities for private equity and corporate clients.

The deal adds specialized buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence expertise to CrossCountry’s platform, strengthening the firm’s ability to support mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, and recapitalization transactions. CrossCountry said the combination will enhance its broader transaction services offering, from early-stage assessment through post-transaction support, and expand its service to CFO organizations, sponsors, and portfolio companies across the deal and investment life cycle.

CDS will be fully integrated into CrossCountry’s existing operations. As part of the integration, CrossCountry is establishing a Financial Due Diligence practice led by CDS Partners Brian Drue and Anthony Azevedo.
