Crowe Global has appointed Josh Cole as Global Growth Leader, a newly created role designed to strengthen collaboration across its international network of accounting and advisory firms.
Cole’s appointment will become effective August 1, 2026. He will report to Crowe Global CEO Kamel Abouchacra and join the organization’s Global Management Committee.
In the role, Cole will develop and execute Crowe Global’s enterprise growth agenda through strategic priorities, commercial programs and initiatives connecting member firms across different countries.
Crowe Global consists of more than 200 independent accounting and advisory firms operating across more than 150 countries.
Although member firms operate independently, the network can create additional opportunities by connecting capabilities, industry expertise and client relationships across markets.
Cole will focus on helping those firms pursue profitable and sustainable growth while maintaining locally relevant services.
Priority areas will include consulting, AI, cybersecurity, strategic alliances and technology-enabled services.
Cole joins the global organization after spending more than 30 years with Crowe LLP in the United States.
He most recently served as Managing Partner of Strategic Alliances, leading the firm’s technology partnership and ecosystem strategy during a period of growing AI adoption.
Cole previously led Crowe’s U.S. Consulting Business Unit for nearly a decade. During that period, he combined its Risk Consulting and Performance Consulting operations under the Crowe Consulting organization and expanded its technology portfolio.
He has also helped build technology-enabled consulting practices and relationships with major platform and software providers.
Crowe Global said the new role will provide a more coordinated approach to market development while creating opportunities for member firms to serve multinational customers together.
The Crowe Global network includes more than 46,000 professionals and generates approximately $6.5 billion in annual revenue.
