Paradigm led this funding round with participation from existing investors Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Variant Fund, Jump Capital, DeFi Alliance, and Solana Ventures.

This equity round of funding will enable Phantom to expand across multiple blockchains like support for Ethereum before the end of this year, according to CEO Brandom Millman via The Block. Plus Phantom is planning to launch an Android app in the first half of this year. The company has already released an iOS app.

The wallet was initially launched as a browser extension last year in July and it has grown into a leading Solana wallet since then. It gained over 2 million monthly active users within 6 months of launching.
