CurrentClient, a communication platform designed for financial advisors, announced it has raised $1.25 million in seed funding. The round was led by Thicket Ventures, with the investment supporting the company’s continued expansion and product development.
Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Provo, Utah, CurrentClient provides a compliant, integrated phone and messaging system tailored for registered investment advisors and financial planners. The platform is designed to streamline advisor-client communication while addressing regulatory requirements and reducing compliance risks.
As part of the funding, Justin Wisz, Partner at Thicket Ventures, has joined the company’s Board of Directors. The company is positioning itself to address increasing regulatory scrutiny in financial communications, as regulators have fined firms billions of dollars for violations tied to off-channel messaging.
CurrentClient is focused on modernizing how financial advisors communicate with clients by offering a solution that enhances engagement while maintaining compliance standards. The company noted that its platform has gained traction among advisors seeking to improve communication workflows and client experience.
In addition to the funding, CurrentClient announced the appointment of Austin Guest as Head of Sales. Guest previously led sales at FINNY and brings experience in scaling go-to-market teams across fintech and advisor-focused SaaS platforms. His role will focus on accelerating adoption among registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, and enterprise wealth platforms.
The company plans to use the new capital to grow its operations, expand its team, and further develop its platform as it targets broader adoption within the financial advisory ecosystem.
