CV Advisors, a multi-family office overseeing more than $22 billion in assets under management, announced the appointment of David Sabo as chief technology officer, marking a new phase in the firm’s technology and artificial intelligence strategy.
In this newly created role, Sabo will lead the firm’s overall technology direction and oversee the integration of AI across its platform. His mandate includes enhancing the internal tools used by investment and advisory teams to improve decision-making and client service for ultra-high-net-worth clients.
The firm has historically invested in proprietary systems for manager evaluation and real-time reporting, and Sabo’s arrival signals a continued push toward next-generation platform development.
Sabo brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling financial technology platforms. Most recently, he served as chief technology officer, head of product, and growth at Tienda Pago, where he developed the company’s technology infrastructure and scaled its engineering organization to support expansion in lending and payments. Earlier in his career, he co-founded a financial services technology company, where he spent over a decade building core systems and managing debit and credit card programs for business clients.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid.
