CVC DIF has appointed Enrico Del Prete as Partner and Co-Head of its Value-Add strategy, as the infrastructure-focused private markets manager continues to scale its approximately $25 billion platform amid growing investor demand for mid-market opportunities across Europe.
Del Prete will be based in London and will co-lead the Value-Add strategy alongside Willem Jansonius, focusing on sourcing and executing investments while driving value creation across the portfolio. The appointment marks a continued push by CVC DIF to expand its value-add capabilities across infrastructure sectors including energy transition, transport, utilities, and digital infrastructure.
The firm manages around €23 billion in assets and has been actively building out its Value-Add platform through investments in scalable, operationally driven infrastructure assets. Recent transactions include data centre operator Adam Ecotech in Spain, aviation ground equipment leasing provider HiSERV in Germany, and digital infrastructure platform Celeste in France.
Del Prete joins from I Squared Capital, where he served as a Fund Partner leading infrastructure investments across sectors such as passenger transport, asset leasing, fibre, data centres, waste recycling, and renewable energy. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Terra Firma Capital Partners and McKinsey & Co.
The hire reflects CVC DIF’s ambition to further strengthen its European infrastructure investment platform and capitalize on increasing demand for mid-market infrastructure opportunities.
