Cyware — the leading provider of cyber fusion solutions — has raised a $10 million Series A round of funding to enhance its threat intelligence automation, threat response, and security orchestration solutions. This funding round was led by the Prelude Fund (the venture practice at Mercato Partners) and Tanium (a provider of unified endpoint management and security). Cyware’s seed investors Emerald Development Managers and Great Road Holdings also joined the round.

The company’s virtual cyber fusion solution is the next evolution of Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR). And it emphasizes proactive engagement as the core of cybersecurity strategy. The company’s goal is to help change the ecosystem of cybersecurity and optimize security operations by eliminating silos for security teams.

Cyware plans to use the funding to expand its sales and marketing, double down on customer success, and continue use case innovation and product enhancements to its situational awareness platform (CSAP), threat intelligence eXchange (CTIX), security orchestration layer (CSOL) and fusion and threat response (CFTR).

KEY QUOTES:

As organizations begin to understand and address cybersecurity realities amid COVID-19, we’ve grown aggressively and expanded our solution and client portfolio to meet their evolving security needs. We wanted visionary investors who understand cybersecurity and can be our partners for long-term growth.”
