Dark Watch: $3.5 Million Raised For AI-Powered Safety Intelligence Platform For Hospitality

Dark Watch announced it has closed an oversubscribed $3.5 million seed funding round aimed at expanding its AI-driven safety intelligence platform for the hospitality industry. The funding round was led by Eagle Venture Fund with participation from His Kingdom Resources and Blu Ventures, and it closed in late December.

The Stuart, Florida-based company is building an embedded safety intelligence layer designed to help hotels and travel platforms detect high-risk individuals before they arrive on property. By integrating directly into reservation, booking, and payment systems, the platform analyzes digital signals in real time and delivers threat intelligence before check-in without interrupting legitimate guest experiences.

Dark Watch’s technology is designed to address growing risks tied to criminal networks that increasingly exploit the same digital infrastructure used by modern hospitality businesses. According to the company, hotels and travel platforms often lack visibility into threats until incidents occur. By embedding threat detection directly within operational systems, Dark Watch aims to give operators early warnings while preserving normal guest workflows.

The company’s platform combines proprietary data infrastructure with AI models that screen and analyze digital activity across a large dataset of profiles. Dark Watch says the system monitors more than 450 million profiles in real time, identifying potential risks related to organized crime, trafficking networks, and terrorism-related activities.

With the new capital, Dark Watch plans to accelerate product development, expand integrations with enterprise hospitality systems, and increase commercial deployments across hospitality and travel platforms. The company also plans to enhance its safety intelligence capabilities as it scales to a broader customer base across hospitality, finance, and law enforcement sectors.

Founded to bring proactive threat intelligence into hospitality infrastructure, Dark Watch positions its platform as a safety layer that operates within existing digital ecosystems used by hotels and travel companies.

KEY QUOTES:

“Criminal networks exploit the same digital infrastructure that powers modern hospitality—payments, reservations, and booking systems. Hotels shouldn’t have to choose between guest experience and safety. Dark Watch embeds real-time threat intelligence directly into those systems to stop bad actors before check-in, without disrupting legitimate travelers. This funding allows us to scale that capability across the industry.”

Noel Thomas, CEO of Dark Watch

“We’re excited by the traction Dark Watch has achieved across hospitality, travel, and entertainment. This round positions the company to scale its product and go-to-market capabilities, bringing advanced threat intelligence solutions to a broader and increasingly global customer base.”
