Darktrace, a leader in AI for cybersecurity, has acquired Mira Security, a provider of network traffic visibility solutions.
This deal enhances Darktrace’s network security by improving insights from encrypted traffic and offering comprehensive decryption services for regulated industries. It will also pave the way for the next generation of Darktrace technology while effectively addressing encrypted data challenges without impacting network performance.
The integration of Mira Security’s decryption capabilities with Darktrace’s analysis tools will enhance visibility across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, particularly in regulated sectors like financial services and government.
Mira Security’s engineering team, based in South Africa and the U.S., will join Darktrace’s R&D division, bringing expertise in high-performance software and firmware development. This collaboration aims to advance Darktrace’s hardware capabilities for 100 Gbps interfaces, increase data ingestion capacity, and improve networking research and protocol design.
This deal continues Darktrace’s commitment to investing in growth and innovation, following the acquisition of Cado Security and the launch of new AI models for enhanced threat response.
Current Mira Security partners will continue to receive support, ensuring a seamless integration of services across Darktrace’s global customer base.
