Datatruck, a Chicago-based platform positioning itself as an AI-native operating system for North American long-haul carriers, announced it has raised a $12 million Series A round led by Avenue Growth Partners, with participation from existing investors. The company said the funding will be used to accelerate product development, expand its teams, and scale adoption among carriers that are replacing legacy transportation management systems with AI-driven platforms.
The company said it is built for long-haul carriers that have outgrown traditional TMS software and fragmented point solutions, combining dispatch, load management, and compliance into a single system of record. Datatruck also embeds AI agents and financial workflows into daily operations, with more than 150 integrations spanning dispatch, fuel cards, factoring, and compliance tools.
Datatruck highlighted financial management features aimed at improving carrier visibility into unit economics, including real-time profitability tracking, automated IFTA reporting, and integrated factoring through its FinTruck offering. The company said these capabilities, alongside AI-driven automation and insights, are contributing to customer adoption and retention, and it reported triple digit year-over-year growth.
Datatruck said it has replaced hundreds of competitive and legacy TMS systems as carriers modernize core operating infrastructure, and that the platform helps reconcile financial data, reduce revenue leakage, and improve decision-making across the business. The company said it serves approximately 500 carriers across the United States and is headquartered in the Chicago area.
Avenue Growth Partners said its investment reflects confidence in Datatruck’s momentum and its approach to applying AI within mission-critical trucking workflows. Datatruck said the new capital will be used to deepen AI capabilities, expand product and customer-facing teams, and continue scaling across the North American long-haul carrier market.
KEY QUOTES
“Long-haul carriers don’t need more disconnected tools, they need an operating system that can scale with their business. Datatruck was built to replace legacy systems with an AI-native platform that integrates operations, automation, and financial workflows in one place. That’s what modern carriers expect, and it’s why we’re seeing accelerating adoption.”
Shah Rahmanov, CEO and Co-Founder, Datatruck
“We switched to Datatruck from a legacy TMS because it couldn’t keep up with our operation. Datatruck puts carrier profitability front and center in the platform, which helps my team operate more efficiently and continuously expand our margins.”
Stefan Trifan, President, APL Cargo
“Datatruck stood out to us because customers are already using its AI agents to drive real operational efficiency, not just experimenting with them. This is an AI-native platform taking share in a market that’s ready to move beyond legacy systems, and we’re excited to partner with the team as they scale.”
