Datavault AI: Acquisition Of NYIAX To Expand AI-Driven Data And Digital Asset Exchanges

By Amit Chowdhry • Today at 2:12 PM

Datavault AI announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire NYIAX, a blockchain-based trading platform operator, in a move aimed at combining AI-driven data monetization capabilities with institutional-grade market infrastructure.

The transaction builds on an earlier letter of intent signed in October 2025 and expands an existing multi-year commercial and intellectual property partnership between the two companies. By integrating NYIAX’s exchange technology and patent portfolio, Datavault AI plans to accelerate the development and launch of a new generation of digital marketplaces.

NYIAX’s platform, which is built on financial market infrastructure and blockchain-based contract technology, will be integrated into Datavault AI’s ecosystem to enable transparent, compliant trading of data and digital assets. The combined platform is expected to support high-performance matching engines, automated smart contracts, real-time AI valuation, and regulatory-compliant liquidity mechanisms.

A central component of the strategy is Datavault AI’s Information Data Exchange®, which will leverage both companies’ intellectual property to facilitate the tokenization, valuation, and trading of corporate data, experiential media, and real-world assets.

The combined company also outlined plans for multiple specialized exchanges, including an International Elements Exchange for tokenized commodities and industrial assets, an American Political Exchange for political data and advertising inventory, a sports-focused NIL exchange for athlete monetization, and an enhanced NYIAX Advertising Exchange designed to modernize the buying and selling of media inventory through standardized, tradable contracts.

NYIAX’s existing capabilities in advertising markets will serve as an initial proof point, with broader ambitions to expand into additional asset classes and industries where data and digital rights can be monetized more efficiently.

Datavault AI said the acquisition will help bridge traditional financial market infrastructure with emerging Web 3.0 technologies, enabling new revenue opportunities across sectors such as advertising, sports, politics, and data-driven industries.

The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, and the company cautioned that forward-looking statements regarding timing, product launches, and market adoption are subject to risks and uncertainties.

KEY QUOTES:

“This acquisition marks a transformative milestone for Datavault AI, uniting our AI expertise and patented data technologies with NYIAX’s proven exchange infrastructure. In a market where traditional finance is rapidly converging with digital assets, we are bridging financial-market precision with next-generation AI, privacy-first, and Web 3.0 solutions. The combined platform will redefine data monetization for our mutual clients, delivering secure, scalable trading for information assets, advertising, critical elements, political inventory, and athlete name, image and likeness rights while creating new revenue opportunities across industries.”

Nathaniel Bradley, CEO Of Datavault AI

“This acquisition reflects a simple but powerful idea: markets historically built on bilateral transactions can evolve into transparent, efficient exchanges. Advertising was NYIAX’s first proof point, but the broader opportunity across this trillion-dollar global market now being reshaped by data and AI is immense and underscores the strength of our combined platform. Together with Datavault AI, we are building the infrastructure for a new generation of digital marketplaces where future rights, data, and digital assets can be valued, traded, and monetized with greater transparency, trust, and liquidity across the sectors we serve. This transaction builds on the partnership we established with Datavault AI in March 2025 and reflects the strong alignment between our teams, technologies, and vision. We are eager to join the Datavault AI organization to accelerate the development of technology and IP designed to power the next era of global digital markets.”
