Davis Polk announced that Glen Mastroberte has joined the firm as a partner in its Mergers & Acquisitions practice in Los Angeles. Mastroberte advises clients across the media, entertainment, and sports industries.
His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, financings, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, strategic alliances, branding, licensing, endorsement transactions, and other corporate matters.
He represents investors, private equity firms, financial institutions, studios, production companies, producers, music labels, music catalog owners, talent agencies, and individual talent.
Mastroberte has also advised on transactions across film, television, music, sports, video gaming, beauty, and technology.
He joins Davis Polk from Skadden, where he was a partner and led the firm’s global Media and Entertainment practice and Los Angeles Corporate group.
The hire is part of Davis Polk’s continued expansion in Los Angeles.
The firm launched its Los Angeles office in May 2026 with the addition of Civil Litigation partner Jason Russell.
Mastroberte has been recognized by publications including The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Variety, and Chambers USA for his work in media and entertainment law.
