Daybright Financial has acquired EZTPA, a retirement plan consulting and third-party administration firm serving employers and financial advisors. The deal represents Daybright’s 67th acquisition since the company was founded in 2008 and its third acquisition of 2026. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
EZTPA was founded in 2016 and provides retirement plan design, administration and compliance services.
Its capabilities include support for 401(k), profit-sharing, cash balance, defined benefit and Solo 401(k) plans.
The business will become part of Daybright’s Private Sector Retirement Solutions segment, strengthening the company’s retirement plan administration and consulting capabilities in Philadelphia and the broader Mid-Atlantic region.
EZTPA also offers EZSOLO(k), an electronic Solo 401(k) plan document service designed for self-employed individuals, independent contractors and owner-only businesses.
Adam Hunt and Wendy Hunt will remain with the company as Managing Partners and will continue leading EZTPA following the acquisition.
Existing clients and financial advisor partners will continue working with the same team.
The transaction is designed to give EZTPA clients access to Daybright’s broader retirement products, services and technical expertise while preserving the firm’s existing service model.
Daybright specializes in employee benefits, retirement plans and related compliance services.
The company serves more than 22,000 employer groups and approximately 3.6 million plan participants nationwide.
