Daypass.com: Online Travel Agency Closes $2 Million Funding Round

daypass.com, a Mexican online travel agency focused on day-use hotel experiences, has closed a $2 million investment round to accelerate international expansion, enhance its technology platform, and strengthen its position as a marketplace for one-day hospitality services.

The company plans to operate in 26 countries this year, targeting strategic markets across Europe, Latin America, the United States, and other key tourism destinations where demand for flexible, personalized hospitality experiences continues to rise.

Founded as a platform for booking day passes and one-day tourism services at hotels, beach clubs, spas, and resorts, daypass.com enables travelers and locals to access premium amenities without an overnight stay. The company says its model has already gained traction with major hotel groups and independent operators.

Among its partners are Iberostar and Princess Hotels, alongside international resorts and independent hospitality providers. Just six months after launch, daypass.com reports integrating more than 600 active hotels, resorts, and beach clubs across Mexico, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and Spain. The platform has surpassed 10,000 day passes sold and more than $1 million in GMV transacted.

The investment round was led by a private equity group specializing in experiences, hospitality, entertainment, and tourism. The investors cited the company’s traction and performance within its first five months of operations as evidence of growing demand for flexible, high-end hospitality access.

The founding team includes Rafael Gómez, Javier del Hierro, Raúl Yáñez, and Raúl Hita, who bring experience across technology, ticketing, marketing, marketplaces, and business scaling. The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate international growth, expand the team, enhance the technology product, and broaden partnerships with hotel chains and premium experience providers.

Founded in Mexico, daypass.com operates as a marketplace that connects users with one-day hospitality and tourism experiences across more than 50 destinations, promoting local tourism and digital innovation in the travel sector.
