DCS Corporation has acquired ARCTOS, LLC, bringing together two companies with long track records of delivering engineering and technical solutions to the aerospace and defense science and technology sector.
Based in Dayton, Ohio, ARCTOS Technology Solutions provides engineering and technical services focused on research and development for aerospace and defense missions. The company supports government and commercial aerospace customers including the Department of Defense, Federal Aviation Administration and other organizations, with capabilities spanning aerospace and space launch safety, risk analysis, advanced manufacturing technology and technology transition.
The acquisition strengthens DCS’s position in the aerospace and defense engineering market while expanding its technical capabilities in propulsion and flight systems, structures and materials, sensors and electronics, biotechnology systems, advanced manufacturing and aerospace risk and safety.
Both companies also share a longstanding relationship supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory. The combined organization aims to enhance its ability to deliver advanced technologies across areas such as autonomous systems, advanced materials, space domain awareness and cyber resilience.
The transaction also expands DCS’s footprint in the Dayton region near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The combined organization will have more than 350 personnel supporting shared customers including AFRL and the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, strengthening collaboration with key stakeholders and accelerating delivery of mission technologies for U.S. defense programs.
