DDN, a provider of AI data storage and data management platforms, announced the appointment of Guido Torrini as Chief Financial Operating Officer as the company scales its global AI infrastructure operations.
Based in Los Angeles, DDN said Torrini will lead finance and operations, overseeing capital strategy, long-range planning, global supply chain, performance management, and enterprise systems. The appointment comes as enterprises, cloud providers, and research institutions increase investments in AI infrastructure to support large-scale training and inference workloads.
DDN said demand for high-performance AI infrastructure and data platforms is rising as organizations expand AI initiatives. The company, which supports AI and high-performance computing environments globally, is investing in operational capabilities to support long-term growth.
Torrini brings more than 25 years of experience leading finance and operations across global technology companies. He began his career at Cisco and Dell during the expansion of large-scale networking and infrastructure. He later held senior finance leadership roles at Groupon and Gympass, supporting high-growth global consumer platforms. At Celonis, he was involved in a period of enterprise software expansion and value creation. Most recently, as CFO of OneTrust, Torrini led operational and business transformation initiatives at the privacy, security, and data governance company.
DDN said Torrini has worked closely with founders and executive teams throughout his career to help scale high-growth technology companies into global enterprises, focusing on financial discipline, operational execution, and long-term value creation.
