DEALSAGE Expands M&A Intelligence Platform To Private Equity, Law Firms, And Corporate Development Teams

DEALSAGE announced it is expanding its institutional investment and M&A intelligence platform to serve additional customer segments, including private equity sponsors, law firms, corporate development teams, and institutional limited partners.

The company positions the platform as an AI-powered, institutionally oriented system designed to deliver independent, “decision-grade” insights across legal, geopolitical, reputational, and other risk categories. DEALSAGE said the product is built to support deal evaluation, execution, and monitoring across strategies, industries, and geographies, spanning public and private transactions on both the buy and sell sides.

Founder and CEO Mario Mancuso said increasing deal competition and rising exposure to non-market risks have outpaced traditional screening and diligence workflows, creating delays and blind spots. DEALSAGE, he said, is intended to help investors and advisors move faster while improving risk visibility and supporting value creation from sourcing through exit.

The company also cited early usage and beta feedback, saying users have reported significantly faster deal evaluation and improved confidence in screening, pricing, and risk-allocation decisions, with the goal of reducing opportunity costs and accelerating time to close.

DEALSAGE said it was founded by Mancuso and co-founder Louis Citron, highlighting their backgrounds across national security, cross-border regulatory matters, and private-market dealmaking. Mancuso previously founded and led the CFIUS and National Security practice at Kirkland & Ellis, and held senior U.S. government roles, including Under Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Security. Citron spent more than two decades as chief legal officer of New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and currently serves on the board of Nasdaq Private Market.

The announcement also included endorsements from investors and early supporters, emphasizing use cases for limited partners and a broader push for more risk-adjusted decision-making in a more complex deal environment.

KEY QUOTES:

“Dealmaking has become more competitive and more exposed to legal, geopolitical, non-market, and reputational risk, but the deal screening and diligence process hasn’t kept up. That mismatch creates costly delays and dangerous blind spots for investors and advisors. We built DEALSAGE to solve the most significant pain points in the institutional investment and M&A market – pain points we experienced first hand over the course of our careers. DEALSAGE drives alpha throughout the deal process – from sourcing to exit and beyond – while building the deal ecosystem infrastructure for responsible investment and M&A.”

Mario Mancuso, Founder and CEO, DEALSAGE
