Decidr To Acquire Sugarwork To Accelerate Knowledge Capture In The Agentic Economy

By Amit Chowdhry ● Nov 20, 2025

Decidr AI Industries has reached an agreement to acquire Sugarwork, a United States-based AI software platform that captures and activates operational knowledge within businesses. The deal will be executed through Decidr, a wholly owned subsidiary of Decidr AI Industries Ltd, and represents a significant step in advancing the company’s plans to build what it defines as the Networked Agentic Economy. This vision centers on creating interconnected AI-driven organizations that can think and act independently.

Founded in 2022 and headquartered in New York, Sugarwork initially focused on helping companies capture and preserve tacit institutional knowledge. As organizations began adopting artificial intelligence without a clear understanding of their internal processes, Sugarwork expanded into a full-spectrum discovery platform that identifies the largely undocumented 80% of operational knowledge within an organization. The platform provides detailed mapping that reveals where automation and AI investments can generate the greatest return.

Sugarwork converts unstructured and often invisible human knowledge into structured and actionable processes. Integrating this capability into Decidr’s technology stack will allow the company to transform this knowledge into self learning systems that form the foundation of autonomous and adaptive enterprise operations. These capabilities support Decidr’s broader strategy to advance the Agentic Economy.

Decidr plans to embed Sugarwork’s knowledge activation technology into the DecidrOS onboarding experience. This integration is intended to reduce onboarding times for agentic organizations and enhance schema precision. Sugarwork will also remain available as an independent discovery and transformation product, supporting companies that require operational clarity before investing in artificial intelligence or before transitioning to agentic systems.

Sugarwork has shown strong results across multiple industries. Its platform reduced Appen’s onboarding time by 70% and revealed critical processes for a Nasdaq-listed medical technology company valued at $800 million.

Sugarwork will continue operating under its existing brand with additional support from Decidr’s technical and commercial teams. Current Sugarwork customers will gain access to Decidr’s partner ecosystem and innovation roadmap. New and prospective DecidrOS customers will benefit from an accelerated path to schema-based intelligence.

The acquisition follows Decidr’s recent capital raise of A$20 million. And it reinforces its efforts to develop the technology, partnerships, and infrastructure needed to deliver agentic artificial intelligence at scale. Together, the companies aim to accelerate customer onboarding, strengthen automation insights, and bring the Agentic Economy closer to reality.

The deal is expected to close by December 31, 2025.
