Definic, formerly known as Nordics, announced that it has closed a $2.9 million seed funding round and unveiled a new corporate identity as it seeks to establish itself as the default platform for enterprise IT procurement.
The company said the new funding will support continued product development and help accelerate its efforts to modernize how businesses manage technology purchasing and IT service spending. Definic aims to provide enterprises with greater visibility into their technology investments and enable organizations to make more informed procurement decisions.
According to the company, its platform has already demonstrated meaningful financial benefits for customers. Definic noted that one client saved more than $1.3 million in IT service spending during a single quarter through the use of its technology and procurement capabilities.
The seed financing round was backed by J&T Ventures, Seed Starter ČS, and Slovak Investment Holding (SIH). The company said the support from its investors represents a strong endorsement of both its vision and the growing demand for more efficient enterprise IT procurement solutions.
The rebranding from Nordics to Definic reflects the company’s next phase of growth and a broader ambition to build a category-defining platform for enterprises managing increasingly complex technology ecosystems. By combining the rebrand with the new financing, Definic believes it is well-positioned to accelerate innovation and expand its market presence.
