Amsterdam-based Delphyr has raised €1.75 million to accelerate development of its AI platform designed to reduce administrative workloads for healthcare professionals. The investment came from multiple backers, including the founders of Hugging Face and DEGIRO.
Founded in the Netherlands, Delphyr develops AI agents that support clinicians by integrating directly into existing healthcare systems. The company aims to give doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals more time for patient care by automating documentation and information retrieval tasks that typically consume significant portions of their working day.
The platform consolidates patient information from multiple sources, including clinical notes, lab results, and correspondence, into a unified overview. This allows healthcare providers to quickly search and summarize relevant information during consultations or care planning.
Delphyr also provides immediate access to clinical guidelines and trusted medical sources, enabling clinicians to reference critical information without leaving their workflow. The system further supports specialized workflows such as preparing patient summaries, drafting consultation notes, generating responses to correspondence and e-consults, and automating routine administrative tasks.
Another feature of the platform is ambient listening, which securely captures consultations and converts them into structured clinical notes that are directly linked to the patient’s medical record. According to the company, this approach helps streamline documentation while preserving clinical accuracy.
The company emphasizes that its technology does not replace existing healthcare systems. Instead, it adds an intelligent layer that improves accessibility to information and simplifies daily workflows. The platform runs on secure European infrastructure and processes patient data exclusively within the practice environment to maintain privacy and security standards.
Delphyr says its tools are designed for use across hospitals, primary care practices, and mental healthcare settings, enabling healthcare professionals to focus more of their time on delivering care rather than completing administrative work.
KEY QUOTES
Healthcare professionals often spend a significant portion of their time on administrative work and searching for information. From my experience as an anesthesiologist, I know how frustrating that can be. With this investment, we can further develop and expand our AI agents so professionals get time back from day one, while maintaining the highest standards of privacy, security, and clinical quality.
