Global law firm Dentons announced its 2026 promotion round for Europe and Central Asia, elevating 13 lawyers to partner, six to Senior Counsel, six to Managing Counsel, and 30 to Counsel positions across the region.
The promotions span 19 offices and every practice group active in Europe and Central Asia. Dentons said the promotions also reflected equitable gender representation, with women making up 46% of the partner promotions and 48% of the counsel promotions.
The newly promoted partners include lawyers across Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Romania, Spain, and Türkiye. The promotions covered a range of practice areas including Corporate and M&A, Banking and Finance, Employment and Labor, Restructuring, Competition and Antitrust, Public Law and Regulatory, and Real Estate.
In Belgium, Igor Danilov was promoted in Competition, Antitrust and Trade in Brussels.
France promotions included Amélie de Baudry d’Asson in Real Estate and Laura Godard in Corporate and M&A, both based in Paris.
Germany promotions included Jakob Pickartz in Restructuring in Berlin, Andreas Schuler in Public Law and Regulatory/TMT in Düsseldorf, Michael Singer in Corporate and M&A in Munich, and Josef Tahmaz in Employment and Labor in Düsseldorf.
Luxembourg promoted Olivier Lesage in Banking and Finance, while Romania promoted Maria Tomescu in Banking and Finance in Bucharest.
Spain promoted Jorge Carmona in Corporate and M&A in Madrid.
In Türkiye, Dentons highlighted promotions at Balcıoğlu Selçuk Eymirlioğlu Ardıyok Keki Attorney Partnership, the Turkish law firm with which Dentons works in relation to Turkish law matters. The promoted lawyers included Çisem Altundemir in Corporate and M&A, Gözde Manav Kılıçbeyli in Employment and Labor, and Ceren Su in Banking and Finance, all based in Istanbul.
The broader counsel promotion list included lawyers across the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
Dentons said the promotions reflect the firm’s continued focus on professional development and career growth opportunities throughout the region.
