Dentons: Aaron W. Marcus Named Louisville Office Managing Partner

By Amit Chowdhry ● Apr 1, 2026

Dentons announced that Aaron W. Marcus has been named Louisville Office Managing Partner, effective April 1, 2026.

Marcus joined the firm in 2017 and focuses his practice on business litigation and management-side employment law. His experience spans matters involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, wage and hour laws, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. He also serves as outside counsel to employers on day-to-day employment issues, including employee discipline, FMLA leave, ADA processes, and executive employment contracts.

In addition to his legal practice, Marcus has held several leadership roles within the firm, including participation on local and global committees focused on culture and engagement.

He succeeds James R. Irving, who has led the Louisville office since June 2017. Irving will continue serving as co-chair of the firm’s US Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy practice.

The leadership transition follows a period of growth for the Louisville office, including its integration into Dentons and navigation through the global pandemic under Irving’s tenure.
