Dentons announced the addition of Amy Nooning as of counsel in its Real Estate practice in Indianapolis, marking a notable expansion of the firm’s capabilities in real estate, municipal law, and commercial transactions.
Nooning brings more than 15 years of experience advising clients on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, sales, leases, development, construction, land use, financing, and a wide range of commercial contracting matters. Her practice also includes assisting clients with zoning and variance issues before local government bodies.
Beyond her real estate focus, Nooning is an experienced municipal lawyer who advises local and county governments on contracts, deeds, annexation, land use, economic development, municipal finance, utilities, ordinances, bond issuance, public procurement, and public works projects. She has also worked extensively with matters involving the Access to Public Records Act and the Open Door Law. Since 2012, she has served as Town Attorney for several municipalities in Boone County, Indiana.
Dentons leaders highlighted Nooning’s appointment as a strategic hire that strengthens the firm’s growing national real estate platform. Her combined background in real estate and municipal matters expands the range of services available to clients navigating property development, permitting and regulatory compliance across both public and private sectors.
