Dentons announced the appointment of Guillermo Bailach Miró as a partner in its Tax practice in Madrid, reinforcing the firm’s capabilities in complex transactions, international structuring, and tax risk mitigation.
Bailach brings more than 15 years of experience advising clients on high-value M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, spin-offs, and reorganizations. His expertise also includes international tax structuring, particularly in regulated sectors such as insurance and life sciences, as well as warranty and indemnity insurance and complex tax proceedings.
Prior to joining Dentons, Bailach held roles at DLA Piper, EY, and Ramón y Cajal Abogados, gaining international experience across Spain, London, and New York. He is also active in academia, serving as a professor of tax law and directing specialized courses at the Complutense University of Madrid, and lecturing in international taxation at the University of Buenos Aires.
His appointment reflects Dentons’ strategy to expand its tax advisory capabilities in response to growing client demand for sophisticated transactional and cross-border tax solutions. Bailach has been recognized in international rankings, including ITR World Tax, where he was named a Rising Star in 2025.
